Temporary Customer Service Advisor

the role.



What a wonderful role for someone who wants to be a key person in delivering fantastic customer service and put their planning skills into action. This is an interesting and varied role where you will be in a team of three other people who are responsible for smooth deliveries to this companies customers.



You will be involved in the full order processing lifecycle, from taking initial orders (lots of repeat orders from customers), entering these onto the production facility systems, being aware of production capacity through to planning drivers routes and schedules to make the most of drivers time and mileage. You will prepare all associated documents form load sheets for the goods in/out operators to drivers daily wallets with their schedules and delivery paperwork.



You will be fully aware of everything going out to customers, and sometimes have to deal with order changes, you will keep in touch with the drivers throughout the day in case anything happens on their routes and you need to keep customers updated or make changes. You will also hold close relationships with Production Planning with heads ups for large orders expected so they can plan production successfully to meet the needs of your clients. Post delivery you will do your final check with the customers and then trigger the invoice.

Customer Service excellence of course, that goes without saying. You will be someone who is proactive and who takes responsibility for their work. You must have experience of managing customer orders, experience of manging transport and good geographical knowledge is a must as well as the ability to create solid working relationships with everyone involved with customer delivery and you must feel able to put your point across or raise issues if you foresee anything that needs to be noted.
