We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for newly qualified ODPs to join our growing team of theatre professionals at KIMS Hospital—the only private AfPP-accredited Theatres team in Kent.
As a new starter, you’ll be supported through a comprehensive and structured preceptorship programme, designed to guide you through your first few months in post with dedicated mentorship, clinical skills development, and professional support.

What you’ll do:
- Primarily work as a scrub practitioner, with opportunities to train and rotate into anaesthetics and recovery.
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate safe patient care.
- Communicate effectively across departments including Sterile Services, Imaging, and the Wards.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Practice within ethical, legal, and professional frameworks.
What we’re looking for:
- Newly qualified ODPs or students expecting to qualify in summer 2025.
- HCPC registration (or awaiting registration).
- Completed clinical placements in a hospital setting.
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Commitment to professional development.
Your working hours: 40 hours per week across Monday to Saturday, with flexible and annualised hours contracts considered.
