Job Summary:
The Treasury Assistant will work as part of a capable and experienced team who take
responsibility for the management of cash receipts for a specific portfolio of companies
within the Cera portfolio.
A mix of skills and approaches will be required in the treasury team, recognising the
differing nature of receipts and how to deal with them, strong reconciliation skills and
accuracy and attention to detail are prerequisite for success in the role. The treasury
team is required to work closely with the invoicing and credit control teams to ensure all
queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
The team is charged with providing a professional, responsive and efficient service to
the division’s internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
? Liaising directly with Local Authorities and NHS to proactively resolve issues or
missing information to allow cash receipts to be allocated on receipt
? Processing all bank receipt transactions to the Finance System
? Liaising with colleagues in Credit Control and Invoicing to resolve any queries
relating to cash receipts and allocations
? Reconciliation of receipts to Customer accounts to allow timely and accurate
posting
? Monitor unallocated cash to ensure cash receipts are allocated correctly
? Support with processing weekly Direct Debit collection runs as required
? Regular reporting to the Credit Control Managers on key account issues
? Achieving KPIs aimed at minimising unallocated cash balances
? Prompt escalation of issues to Line Manager as they arise and monitoring of all
issues to ensure that they are resolved quickly and efficiently
