Salary – up to £32,000

With over 50 years of expertise in their field I am delighted to be working with a leading distribution company who are seeking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their highly successful team on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Shift Manager you will…

• Assistance with the overall site management for the depot.


• Co-ordination of warehouse activities to ensure process of inbound, dispatch and reverse logistics are to the agreed standard outlined in contract KPI’s.


• Anticipate and plan the required staffing-hours


• Liaise with client to schedule daily collection and return loads.


• Oversee and ensure that all trailers/vehicles are unloaded/loaded daily.


• Co-ordinate customer requirements for deliveries and plan load accordingly.


• Liaise with client/haulier daily ref: delivery requirements/stock requirements.


• Co-ordinate customer requirements for deliveries and plan accordingly.


• Investigate / report all workplace accidents or incidents immediately.


• Conduct and review workplace risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures


• Deal with staff management


• Liaise with management when necessary regarding manpower levels.


• Liaise with the Shift Manager on a regular basis regarding any problems that may arise (operational/security/team performance etc).


• Assist line manager/supervisor and other members of the team in completing tasks.


• Other adhoc duties

• Experience of working within a similar role


• Previous Supervisory experience
